Leftover steak? Try this flavorful recipe for steakhouse chili using whatever steak you have on hand.
Ingredients
1-2 pounds cooked steak, cubed 2 cups beef stock or broth 2 cans spicy baked beans 1 can tomato sauce 1 can roasted diced tomatoes 1 large onion, chopped 2-3 teaspoons dried minced garlic (or 4-5 cloves fresh) 1 tablespoon chili powder 2 teaspoons hot pepper flakes (optional) 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper 2 teaspoons smoked paprika A few dashes Worcestershire sauce Directions
Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker. Stir. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. OR Simmer on the stovetop in a large pot for 60-90 minutes, then serve with your favorite toppings.
Note - When you are dining out for steak or grilling at home, order the big one or cook extra. Leftover steak makes for the most amazing meal the next day!
