Leftover steak? Try this flavorful recipe for steakhouse chili using whatever steak you have on hand.Ingredients
1-2 pounds cooked steak, cubed2 cups beef stock or broth2 cans spicy baked beans1 can tomato sauce1 can roasted diced tomatoes1 large onion, chopped2-3 teaspoons dried minced garlic (or 4-5 cloves fresh)1 tablespoon chili powder2 teaspoons hot pepper flakes (optional)1 teaspoon cracked black pepper2 teaspoons smoked paprikaA few dashes Worcestershire sauce
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker. Stir. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. OR Simmer on the stovetop in a large pot for 60-90 minutes, then serve with your favorite toppings.
Note - When you are dining out for steak or grilling at home, order the big one or cook extra. Leftover steak makes for the most amazing meal the next day!
